This is an exception sounding guitar that’s hard to put down. Wartime Martin tone with a robust presence. Among the first D-18’s with the non-scalloped bracing, this guitar has the tapered bracing giving it the powerful bass and defined highs that this era of Martin’s guitars are known for.

The guitar is crack free and the original braces are secure. It has had a few things replaced, most notably, the fretboard position markers. At some point early on in the guitar’s life, the standard circle markers were switched out for the more ornate markers. The bridge has also been switched out with a replacement that is slightly oversized for this time period - the bridge plate is original. The original tuners have also been replaced with vintage style Waverly’s. Lastly, there is a small strap button hole on the underside of the neck heel as seen in the photos.

Serial #92582 - Includes a vintage hard case. Priced at $16,950 - Please feel free to reach out with any questions!
